 Formal Consensus is a peaceful group decision-making process that aims to weave together everyone’s best ideas and key concerns, often resulting in surprising and more creative solutions. It is neither compromise nor voting. 

In this first Introduction to Formal Consensus, you will:

• Understand the basics of group dynamics and human behavior, which drive decision making
• Learn the foundational shared values and vital behaviors which make or break successful use of Formal Consensus
• Adopt at least one values statement together
• Understand the high-level process and structure of Formal Consensus discussions and proposals
